Ashley's Bend (aka ABOK 1452)

This is ABOK 1452 with the bights folded up to make it more streamlined.

It makes a secure loop suitable for lanyard or zipper pull.

Bring left hand end under itself to make a bight.

Bring other end up through the bight forming the loop for the lanyard/pull.

Bring that same end down under itself to make another bight.

Now both ends will be tucked down through hole A.

Grab the loop in one hand and the two strands in the other and pull apart. Tighten the knot.
