Project Summary: Oxygen Tank Holder for a 5-Year-Old Child

Framework: FIXPERTS Program

Description: The project involves designing an oxygen tank holder specifically for a 5-year-old child. Unlike traditional holders, this one is constructed from two separate parts, enhancing its functionality and flexibility.

Materials:

  • PTEG
  • TPU

Manufacturing Method:

  • 3D Printing

Design Features:

  • Upper Part: Designed to remain on the oxygen tank when mounted on a wheelchair, though this feature is not obligatory. It facilitates quick assembly and disassembly from the tank.
  • Lower Part: Secures the tank with pressure using a spring latch, ensuring a stable and secure fit.
  • Adjustable Handle: The holder is designed with an adjustable handle, making it suitable for both children and adults.
