The measurements that are on the card should be traced onto the polypropylene using a pencil. When using polypropylene make sure that you are pressing hard on your pencil. The measurements are 5cm for all sides of the diamonds, 28 cm for the length of the rectangle, and 7cm for the square. Between the first square and the first diamond, there is a difference of 7cm. And from that square to the end the difference is 13.5 cm. The tracing should be accurate, use a ruler.

Cutting the Polypropylene

Before doing this step make sure to be careful when using a cutter and ask for assistance when needed. When cutting the polypropylene make sure that you are using a steel ruler, a cutter, and a board on the bottom so there are no scratches on the table. Try to make it as straight as possible so that the final outer layer will be as straight as it can be. Score the lines in the middle so that it is easier to fold it up.

Taping the Outer Layer

When taping the outer layer make sure to cover all the gaps so the plaster does not leak.

Step 4: the Core

The core is a Tipco Juice Box that can be found in local supermarkets. Make sure that you do drink the actual juice before putting it into the pencil holder.

Get an empty bucket and a spatula ready for pouring the water and plaster powder. Get 2 (yogurt cups) of water and pour that into the empty bucket and then take another empty (yogurt cup) and add three cups of the plaster powder into the empty bucket that contains the water. Now add the coloring, make sure to add at least 20-30 drops for the actual color pigment to show. Use the spatula to stir the mixture created, make sure that you don't waste time because the plaster does take a short amount of time to dry.

Pouring the Plaster

Pour the plaster into the outer layer first then add the Tipco Juice Box (the core) into the plaster, make sure that it doesn't reach the bottom so that there is no hole. Aska. friend or somebody to help you tape the core to the outer layer so that it remains still and it doesn't move around. The plaster doesn't take too long to dry so make sure that you are working fast.

Pealing the Polypropylene

Wait for the plaster to dry before pealing the polypropylene, it should take around an hour or two but to make sure maybe leave it to rest overnight. When pealing the polypropylene, use a cutter to slice the tape but make sure to be careful. Also when trying to take out the core it should be a little difficult but make sure to slowly try to do this because plaster can be fragile.

Sanding

If there are a few bumpy parts make sure that you do sand them out so that the final product looks clean and professional. Use a sanding board to do this step, don't overdo this because it would just be a waste of time.

Admire the Final Product
