Arrow Wall Decoration

20230219_154046.jpg

I am moving into my own apartment soon and cannot afford much wall decoration. So, I looked up different ways I could make some myself and I came across this arrow design that was super fun and easy to make.

Here is the link to the original video where I got this idea from and the Youtuber who created it was Art by Himani( https://youtube.com/shorts/WiEGm40tmD4?feature=share )

Supplies

All you need is:

  • A hot glue gun
  • 15 popsicle sticks
  • Any color of paint with a paintbrush

Take 3 popsicle sticks and glue them together to create an triangle (set aside when done)

Take 4 popsicle sticks and you are going to glue them together to where they will resemble a house (two for the roof and two for the walls)

Take 2 sticks and glue them together to make a wide arrow (make sure to glue at the tip of the arrow)

Bring the wide arrow pointing up towards the bottom of the popsicle stick house and glue ends of the arrow to the bottom ends of the house.

Repeat Step #3

Repeat Step #4, but this time you will glue the second wide arrow you have in the middle. This all put together will look like a double arrow. (Set aside)

Take 2 sticks and glue them side by side. Do this step twice with another two sticks so you will end up with something like the image above.

Glue sticks you made in Step#7 vertically together by placing glue on one of the ends to create a long stick.

Place small triangle from Step#1 at the top of the long stick pointing up and the double arrow from Step #6 at the bottom pointing up as well.

Once you feel like your wooden arrow is secure, feel free to decorate it with any color paint you want and let it dry. Now you have a new piece of wall decoration!
