External power In Blue pin 6 to16 volts . 3 volts out red pin (Vcc) regulator. Voltage out is 3 volts.Up to 500ma_Moment.jpg

This Configuration shows the Jumper Arrangements for the Arduino Pro Micro. Notice the Regulator has been removed from the main Arduino board and replaced with an upgraded regulator on the Sata-lite board below . Not just one Regulator, But two. One for 5 Volt operation and the other for 3.3 volt operation. External supply. The voltage is supplied to the blue Pin. External voltage mode. Up to 17 Volts..

Note. One of the jumper arrangements all it works USB mode. Stand alone USB. No other power... Run straight 5 volts. Be careful you USB Can supply current up to 1 amp....

What I like most about this board is When it is placed in Lithium Battery mode.3.7 volts. It runs purely off the battery. and the USB works fine for programming and reading your 3.3 volt sensors. A lot of projects that require 3 volt operation do not need dropping resistors or level translators to work..

Comparing the Arduino Pro Micro to this Board. Upgrade .

Arduino Pro Micro Dual sandwich board Pro Micro Upgrade.

.3 Volt operation 50.0 ma 3.3 Volts 800 ma

5.0 Volts off USB 1 amps 5.0 Volts 1.0 amps

External voltage up to 8 volts external voltage up to 16 volts(blue pin)

to a 3v regulator no external 3.3 volt rail 50ma and Regulated to 5 volts out 800 mA

Battery mode only 3.7 volts 10 ma suply current 3.7 volts 200 Nano amps battery mode

USB does not work on lithium battery mode USB works perfect on USB Battery mode

This is a complete drawing on what is going on internally . showing schematics . Not The pins remain the same and also on the circuit board the legend is the same as the pro micro.
