I needed to build a vending machine for my construct-it class. The vending machine had to be 6" by 8" by 12" and I was provided 3/8" plywood to complete the job. so I got to cutting and these were my pieces I had to work with.

Step 1: the Top

The top was the easiest part to build because I only needed the one piece and I needed a small hole for the candy to fit through to vend out the front. I gave it the dimensions 12" by 6" so it would fit between the front and back.

Step 2: the Back

The back was a little trickier because I had to have a door to access the electronics and for the power to connect to. I made the piece 12" by 8" and cut a door out so I could attach the hing to it.

Step 3: the Front

The final piece of my project was the front. It was a fairly easy piece such as the back with the exception that it has a hole to collect your vended candy. the dimensions of the piece are 12" by 8".
