I had many problems with keeping connections on my Arduino Nano Every and my Elegoo Nano boards. The holes were too big to keep constant connections with inserted wire ends or Dupont connectors, even if placed in an adapter. This Instructable will show you how to make permanent connections.

Supplies

Arduino Nano Every or Elegoo Nano or any unit that has this size and holes

pin connectors

soldering iron/soldering paste

Decide How You Want Your Pin Placement

Make sure the pins are pushed all the way in (no pin part sticking out of one side). Place the pin row in the unit. If you will be using an adapter, set it so the pins come out the bottom. If not, you can set the pins to come out the top.

Apply Solder and Secure

I use soldering paste which is really handy and simple to apply. Solder each connection.

Attach to Shield or Use As Is

Now you won't have the pins or the board wiggling loose from each other!
