Arduino Light Tube Decoration
My stepmom is a very strict person. She would never be happy to treat me well; therefore, I decided to create this project to please her. I will show you the steps on how I created this project. Wish your mom, girlfriend could enjoy this decoration.
Supplies
Arduino Leonardo x1
Arduino
6 -8 light bulbs
1 desk
1 smart brain
Design
In order for you to have a clear way to do your work, designing has been an important cycle for you to make projects. As in the image above, you may know the structure of the project to decorate well. The colors don't matter the Arduino at all.
Classfied Progress (Inside) *****
Since the method, I am going to use, functioned by pressing buttons. There are going to be 2 buttons above the box. The rest of the space can place your stuff. Follow the image above and prepare to log in to Arduino. Make sure that the long legs of the LED light bulb are connected with the d-pin. Make sure to stabilize all 5v and GND holes. Make sure to secure your lines. Holes must be related to each other!!
Program Arduino
Make sure that the cables are connected with Arduino Leonardo or else the program will not be uploaded to the board. The code is going to be indicated below for your understanding.
Changed (compare and contrast file)
1. I have deleted the upper part to preserve the bottom parts for pressing the buttons function.
2. I have changed the colors into numbers to match with my d-pin.
4. I have changed his if sentence into when press button, lights on and off. (instead of brighter, changing colors. etc)
3. It is much easier for me to operate this Arduino.
Box Thingy (Apperance)
You are going to create 2 holes beside the box which has a large hole in the middle. There is also going to be a tube for you to stick your LED lights in. You may forget about the bottom part in order for you to place them easily. Follow the images above and create your project!!
Stepmom Test
Accordingly, my stepmom still wouldn't forgive me due to my horrible behaviors when playing video games. I created this tube so she can decorate her desk. Apparently is a waste for her. Next time, I should work more on programming so the LED can shine in multi-colors. Furthermore, I should improve my project's appearance since it is ugly. A good project makes me a good son.
