This project requires some soldering expertise, but its an easy one and perfect for Arduino beginners.

parts I used:

* arduino UNO

* PCB board

* 64x diffused LEDs

* wires from ethernet cable

* 20x male pins for Arduino

* 20x shrink tubes

* 4x 100 OHM Resistors

drill 16 holes in a cardboard box or in wood for the layers to be held in place while you soldier them.
