Aquarium Cookies!
These are cookies which are clear in the middle, and you can see through to the inside, where there are sprinkles! When you shake the cookie, the sprinkles even rattle inside! Have fun with this incredible desert!
Supplies
1 bag jolly ranchers
Sparkly sprinkles
1 bag Icing
1 egg
8 tbsp (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour

2 cups flour
Cream Butter and Sugar
Make sure to mix them together for at least 1 minute so they are fully incorporated, the sugar has dissolved, and there are no butter chunk
Add Egg and Flour
Add egg, fully incorporate, and SIFT in flour. If you don’t have a sifter, you should get one. Otherwise, just dump it in and mix well.
Refrigerate Dough Ball
Wrap tightly in clear plastic wrapping and refrigerate for half an hour.
Cut Cookie Shapes
Roll out dough until it’s thin, then use a large cup, about 1.5 inches in diameter, to cut circles in of dough. You can also use a cookie cutter if you have one. Then, stamp a 0.75 inch hole in the center. Put the cookies on a greased pan and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add “glass”
Put a Jolly Rancher in the center of the cookies and bake for 5 more minutes at the same temperature.
Assemble
Find two cookies matching in size. Put sprinkles in the middle of one, put icing around the edges, and put the other cookie on top. This is your finished cookie!
