Apple Mac Mini Cooler (Made With Drawer Slide CNC)

My first Intructable (https://www.instructables.com/id/Building-a-drawer-slide-CNC-machine-for-under-200/) was building my Drawer Slide CNC Machine. And Ironically, the first part I cut on it was this, my second Instructable!

It all started when I was designing a few parts on my Apple Mac Mini. It seemed to be getting a little too warm with all of the drawing I was doing. So this design was born.

All that I used was a 5" PC fan and I cut the cooling unit out of foam board (it's very forgiving!)

I was having a hard time coming up with an efficient design. As you can see, I had many ideas, most of them failed. They also didn't look very good, as I was trying to come up with a design that looked like it was made for it.

This is a very simple design, air gets sucked in from the bottom four holes, blown up onto the bottom of the Mac Mini, and out the top four holes. You could make the fan variable speed, which I think I might do to quiet it down or shut it off when not in use.

Here is the first video of the Drawer Slide CNC cutting the cooling unit. Some of you may have seen this (poor quality) video on my first intstructable.
