Apple Crumb Cheesecake Pie With Chocolate Eggnog Ganache

This is a Apple Crumb Cheesecake Pie with a chocolate Ganache and a "yummy sauce" made to look like a spider web.

Supplies

Apple Pie Filling

4 diced and peeled Apples

1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

12 tbsp of packed brown sugar

3 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp of cinnamon

1/2 tbsp of grated nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/12 cups of water

Cheesecake

Refrigerated pie crust or homemade

8oz of cream cheese, room tempt

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 egg

Crumb Topping

1/4 cup all purpose flour

1/4 oat flour

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 tbsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Sauce

Condense Milk

Apple Pie Filling

1. Drizzle lemon juice over apples and mix to coat. Set aside.

2. Stir the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together in a saucepan. Whisk in water until dissolved.

3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about two minutes.

4. Add apples to mixture and increase heat to medium high. Stir and let simmer for another two minutes. Remove pan from heat and let cool. Put the filling in an airtight container and put it in the fridge.

To Make Pie

6. Preheat oven at 375 Fahrenheit. Spray a 9 inch plate with non stick baking spray.

7. Put the pie crust in plate. Do the edge how you want it. Refrigerate till ready to use.

8. Beat cream cheese until creamy. Add sugar and beat until smooth.

9.Add egg and beat until fully incorporated. Do not overbeat batter.

10. Put cheesecake layer in pie crust.

11. Gently spoon apple pie filling un top of cheesecake batter.

12. Mix together crumb ingredients. Sprinkle mixture evenly on top of pie filling.

13. Bake cheesecake for 40 minutes.

14. Remove plate from oven and place on wire rack. Let cheesecake cool for 1 hour, then refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

Chocolate Ganache

1. Place milk in a saucepan with butter over medium heat. Cook for two minutes stirring constantly. Stir until butter has melted completely.

2. Increase heat to medium high and stir until you see tiny bubbles around the put. Take of stove and cool before using.

Sauce

Take a pin or something to spread the condense milk on. Let ganache sit in pie for 10 minutes before decorating. Then take pin and spread it over the ganache like a spider web. Use link to help draw!
