Anycubic Vyper Christmas Prints

all.jpg

It’s December and that can only mean one thing, the Christmas season is upon us once again. Ill be taking a look at 5 of my favourite prints i have done on my Anycubic Vyper 3d printer. You don’t need much for these prints just a few supplies. I’m using my anycubic Vyper 3d printer to print all the pieces, you will also need a few Supplies

First thing you are going to need to do is get your Anycubic Vyper ready and level. once you have sliced the files you can load onto the vyper to print.

the tree was printed using spiralize contour mode in cura under special modes.

the gift box was also sliced in spiralize outer contour mode.

all the models were printes at 0.2mm layer height and at 70mms

this is a link the the profile i used for the prints.

Once your all done with the printing pull the prints off and clean up any rough edges left from the brim if you used one.

Using the Lights i found at my local dollar stores, you can use a string of lights for the tree as pictured.

Or optionally if you found a disc type light it works just as well with added bonus of a remote and light patterns.

Now you can set your tree up anywhere you want to add a bit of color and light for the season.

Next with the two villages i printed you can use the same string lights or the disc light I got a few of each when i was at the dollar store last for various projects. these are super easy just print pull them off and put the lights in. Neither of these models require supports making them great for beginners.

Here is another simple print but its a great one for decoration you can use a disc light to have it on a shelf or table, or you can hang the bell up with a light. This is about as easy as you can get for printing decorations. I printed this model with 4 walls to make sure it was solid. And i have to say i'm really happy how it turned out. There are a ton of different versions of this model available.

And finally the simplest print, you just print this gift box in vase mode. In cure it is under the special mode tab as Spiralize outer contour mode and smooth outer contours. This will print the base and the rest of the print will be a single wall. Just like how we printed the tree earlier.

The only thing you need to do after printing is Glue the ribbon to the Ribbon with the tab on it. That’s it you have a functional gift box that can be reused, you can print any colour and scale the box to any size you need. With the vyper you could print a massive gift box if you needed, though with larger scale i would recommend stepping up to a larger nozzle such as a 0.8mm or even a 1.0mm nozzle to make sure the box is strong.

The villages take a bit of time the tall one took me 25 hours including the train. The smaller one took a little under 20. The bell was about 3 hours, The tree took a little over 3 hours and the box was the fastest one with most of the parts at that scale printing at about 20 to 45 min.

With a bit of patience and a few tools you would be surprised at some of the things you can make with 3D printing.

There are several sites you can find models on the two i used in this article are listed below.

Thingiverse - Digital Designs for Physical Objects

Thanks for taking the time to check out my 5 prints for Christmas and I hope you and your loved ones have a happy holiday and a happy new year.
