Anime Eyes

I'm using the app paper 53 (this is MEB) and you do not have to but I'm gonna save paper. So first step is to get your supplies.
-A drawing utensil (with paper I prefer mechanical pencil)
-paper (of course >_<)
-coloring supplies (I like marker and pen but I REALLY want copic markers for my birthday and/or Christmas)
-willingness to draw (should come naturally )

The Out Line

There are many ways to do this. I will show you three.
The square eye is my least favorite. But some people have that shape eye. I personally don't really like to draw it at all unless somebody wants me to characature them and they have that eye.
The round eye is my second favorite. Some people have that shape eye and it's fun to draw.
The everything eye is my absolute favorite. You can spread the top and bottom lines out. And put them longer and closer together for a more narrow eyed person. And make the bottom line more curved for a "droopyier" eyed person. Pick your favorite, this one is definetly mine.

Pupils

So next we are going to add pupils. Joust make them as bi as you want. Smaller for a more mature person and larger for a younger person or whatever depending on the picture you are drawing.
If you are using paper and not an app where you cant make the white opaque( not see through, for the shine) leave circles or squares for the shine. I prefer circles and squares but it's your choice
On the square eye I left space for "shine" but on my iPad I can do an opaque white. I did it to help you paper people with out a white gel pen.

Color

The next step is the color. I would start with the color you want in the LIGHTEST SHADE POSSIBLE. That way you can shade. Even using markers and if you want you can make the top of the eye darker. We will do eye lashes later.
Well with the color, color the basic body of the eye the LIGHT shade. Then choose where your shine is going to be. Make that you next shade darker or if you are doing it with three colors your MEDIUM color. Then do your darkest shade or just keep going. The area getting smaller and smaller. If you want you can color the eye one basic color add lashes an sparkle.

Lashes

If it's not a dude you will wanna add lashes. On the round eye do lots. The everything eye do it on the corner of the top and bottom and square top corner.

Finishing Touches Such As SPARKLE

So once you finish the lashes the square eye is done for me but the really cool eyes are not. So for sparkle you can do square/rectangle or circles. Do the sparkle where it is darkest and make it go across the eye. You will see what I'm talking about.
Badaboom an anime eye!
