  • 350 grams of wheat flour
  • 4 yolks
  • 20 grams of sugar

  1. Mix yolks and sugar
  2. Add flour
  3. Add salt
  4. Add beer
  5. Change mixer and mix all together, not too long - only until you have a uniform dough

The dough will be really sticky, so use a bit of flour to sprinkle your board before you start to knead the dough by hand.

Now you can start hitting the dough. Really - you have to beat it like crazy. The goal is to aerate it as much as possible. The easiest way is by using a rolling pin.

Roll out the dough thinly. If you did your job properly you have burned enough calories to not have remorse when you will be eating these goodies. Also, you should hear the popping while rolling (like a bubble wrap). Cut the dough and divide it into rectangle pieces about 15cmx3cm. Then cut each piece in the middle and put one end through the incision.

Dissolve fat in a pan and heat it to a medium-high temperature (not maximum). Fry on each side about 30 seconds until it gets color. It really depends on your taste, some people prefer lighter, another like darker. After frying, put it on a paper towel to get rid of excess fat. Do not worry a bit of fat will stay ;-)
