Anemometer Instructable
Materials you need:
5 cups
1 pencil with a rubber top
2 straws
1 pin
Step 1: POKE
Poke four holes evenly around the top of the cup.
Step 2: Straw Time
Stick two straws through the four holes and make a cross (and it's even).
Step 3: More Poking
Get another cup and poke two holes near each other on the middle of the cup. Repeat this on three other cups.
Step 4: 2 Steps in 1
Put the 4 cups through the straw through the holes besides the centre of the cup . Take your pencil and poke a hole in the middle of the bottom of the cup. The pencil's rubber top must reach the other side (the pencil must touch the straws).
Step 5: the Last Step
Poke the pin's "needle" through the top of the straws (where the straws meet) and it must go through the rubber top. Make sure the pin is secured onto the straws and rubber but still loose enough to spin around.
After you finish that step, you're done!
