An RC Kite for Make It Fly
Hello My name is Gabriel and I am a 8th Grader in Grandview Preparatory School. I will be showing you my project, an improvement on the classic kite, called the Rotor Kite. The difference of the two is the use of RC parts and the shape of a modified base for a kite.
Supplies
2 red wires.
A 3d printer
3d printer Filament
The template (will be attached)
1 Black Wirer
1 RC Motor
1 RC Fan
1 RC On and Off button
A whole bunch of Hot Glue
A little bit of Duck Tape
Some string

Making a Rectangle
First you go to ''Create", then you press "Box" It ask you which platform you want, I prefer the platform at the bottom. After It will ask you to chose the measurements. Mark the measurements as 219.29L and 238.25W.
The Wings
For this part I used Tinkercad. I went to Shapes pressed the triangle button, the I modified the Wing to 100.25h, 187.02l, and 2w. After that I made another triangle the same way.
The Holes
Once more go to "Create" above it is "Hole" Put in the Measurements; the length is 34.06L and the width is 82.27W. Make another hole right under the middle of the wings. Put in the Measurements 90L and 49W.
Slice the project as an G Code and print it with your 3D printer, I used an Ender 3 pro.
Live Parts
For this you need an RC Motor, a battery, 2 blue wires, 3 black wires, an RC fan, and an RC On and Off button. After you 3D print the project out you need to put some hot glue in the hole in the top of the Rotor Kite, after that quickly attach the RC motor on it. After that you hot glue the battery in it doesn't matter if where you put it, just know you have to put it where the three wires don't constrict each other. Hot glue the RC On and Off button close do the RC motor. then attach the wires and measure them like the the picture. Now tie the string to the rotor kite, and then you're ready!!!
