  1. Cardboard
  2. Tape
  3. Hot glue gun
  4. Arduino board
  5. LED lights
  6. Wires
  7. W&S BATT batteries
  8. Scissors
  9. Yellow paint

Shape of the Robot

First take out a large piece of cardboard, then cut out two small rectangles for the legs. One medium sized cube for the head and a 3D shape that resembles the body of the robot. One this is done the base is complete.

Arduino Components

Now, we need to complete the Arduino part of this project. Firstly take the Arduino board, and connect the cables and the resistors so that the two yellow LEDs light up. An image of this step is provided for clarification.

Inserting LEDS in the Robot

Next, make holes below the head and on top of the body. Then, make two holes in the face of the robot to make the eyes. After this, position the Arduino board inside the body and run the wires through the holes to connect the LED's to the eyes.

Painting the Robot

Now you will be painting the robot. Take out the yellow paint and paint the whole robot. Add a few layers until the cardboard cannot be seen. Once dry add small details, for example adding small circles around the eyes and, the mouth of the robot.

Making a Base

Cut out a rectangle and paint it in black. Then cut out a smaller rectangle and also paint it black. Attach the robot to the large rectangular base. After, use the smaller rectangle to make a sign. Its time to get creative! Add accessroies and small objects to your design to make it even more customized!
