An Ashen 4x4 Clock

From a four x four block of ash I made an endgrain clock. The clock mechanism is cheap and small enough to fit the clock.

I cut the 4x4 in half then proceeded to cut out the inside, leaving about a 1/2 border.

I then glued on a face piece making dye to March grain best I could

There’s the clock. I made the markings on the face plate with a Drexel and glued in rosewood sanded flush. I painted the hands wowzer lime green, day glow antifreeze. It’s nice behind the monitors simply reminding of the time.
