Ammo Box for .22lr or 6 Mm Airsoft
this is a simple little ammo box I made whilst tinkering in my room. It’s proven great for 6mm airsoft bbs, and I imagine it would by handy for .177, .22 for air guns. The middle compartment is largest and is wide enough to hold 30/6!I would imagine since it’s plastic it couldn’t hold more than a couple hundred or so round of 223 or 308 though. I recommend this for airgun or airsoft mostly.
Supplies
you’ll need a 10x6x5 (in a x,z,y pattern accordingly.) some thin styrofoam, jumbo craft sticks (4) and decorative duct tape.
tools: hot glue, scissors.
Making the Structure.
cut four jumbo craft sticks to fit your box. On bottom and on top. Hot glue them on. You may make your gap sizes however you please, I did mine as this: 1, 3.33 “ 2, 3.5” 3, 3.33” approximately.
Reinforceing the Walls and Decorations!
cut some of you thin styrofoam and hot glue it to your beams. Make sure there’s no place for bbs or pellets to move from one section to another, that would be silly. Now all that’s left is for you to decorate it! I wrapped mine in camo duct tape but you can also spray paint yours any color you choose. I hope you enjoyed this little project! If you have any questions about the construction of it let me know and I’ll be sure to help you out!
