took about 2 weeks to complete.

Cut Wood to Length and Plain It

2 – 1″ x 2″ cut to 10 1/4″ (cut ends at 30 degree bevel as shown above)

4 – 1″ x 2″ cut to 5 3/4″

2 – 1″ x 2″ cut to 25 1/2″

2 – 1″ x 4″ cut to 25 1/2″

2 – 1″ x 6″ cut to 8 3/4″

2 – 1″ x 6″ cut to 25 1/2″

2 – 1″ x 6″ cut to 27 1/4″

Plain wood down to 3/4 of an inch

Sand Wood

Sand till smooth

Stain Wood

After your done sanding stain the pieces of wood any color you want.

Attach Sides to Bottom

Nail conner of the boxes together then attach bottom piece.

Assemble Lid

Grab cross pieces and the 2" 4" 6" pieces of wood not used for the bottom half and mesuer our about 5" from each side then nail them in.

Add Hinges

Go 6"out from each side and pre drill a little in then screw in hinges.

Finished Project

sand any thing at the end that is rough.
