Amigurumi Lying/standing Pig by the Crafty Potato


Hey guys its The Crafty Potato. Here is my first amigurmi!! How does he look? I'm a huge pig fan and he is perfect! He has adjustable legs so he can lie down or he can stand up he can also sit. Ok let's start!
What You Need..
Whatever color you want your pig to be
a secondary color for the ears
black yarn
scissors
F-3.75 crochet hook
Minor crochet skills
Crochet needle
The Body

This is sooo simple ,it is a ball..
So if i get 10 views ill make a video on how to do basic amigurmi things like magic circles, stchs, crochet slang, and basic balls, arms, legs, and a whole bunch more. Anyway back to the project.
Row 1: 6 stchs in magic circle
Row 2: 2 sc in each stitch
Row 3: inc, sc, inc, sc continue till end
Row 4: 2 sc, inc, 2 sc, inc, 2 sc continue till end
Row 5: 3 sc, inc, 3 sc, inc, 3 sc continue till end
Row 6: 4 sc, inc, 4 sc, inc, 4 sc continue till end
Row 7: by now it should start to look like an octagon but that is fine, 5 sc, inc, 5 sc, inc, 5 sc continue till end
Row 8-12: sc in each stitch
Row 13: This is a decreasing row. dec, sc, dec, sc continue till end
Row 14: repeat row 13
Row 15: stuff the ball, sls in ever other stch until the ball is closed. tie it off
The Legs



Start with 7 stchs in the magic circle then sc in each stich till it is to your desired length. Make 4.
The Tail and Facial Features


The tail:
chain 6 and sew on to body
The facial features:
snout: 5 in magic ring, sc until desired size, sew onto face. knot a knot and sew it onto snout make 2
ears: choose a color, chain 6, sls in first stch, sc 6 times in circle, tie off ,make 2
eyes: sew a simple line or a button onto the face. Be creative with it, give him a winky face if you want.
