Amazing Twice Baked Potatoes
This is one of the recipes people go nuts for, I will most certainly do a full video with this one but for now it's one of my Bring Home the Flavour Quick Recipes. Ingredients
Ingredients
- 6 baking potatoes
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1/2 cup bacon bits
- 1 tbsp tex mix seasoning
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Wash & Bake
Wash and lay out the potatoes on a baking sheet. Bake potatoes in a oven set to 350 degrees for about one hour. Spray them with cooking spray before placing them in the oven if you wish to cook them faster and evenly.
Cool & Cut Off Tops
Once out of the oven let them cool for about 20-30 minutes, then cut the tops off each of them about 1/4 inch down the potato.
Scoop
With a spoon scoop all the potatoes out as good as you can with out damaging the skin. place all the scooped potato in a medium mixing bowl and lay your shells on the baking sheet to dill later.
Add Butter & Mash
Add the butter to the potatoes in the bowl and mash well.
Add Spices & Mix
Next add all your spices and parmesan, mix well. Season to taste with the salt and pepper then mix in the bacon bits.
Stuff Potatoes
Spoon the potato mixture back into the empty potato shells filling them well but be careful not to damage them.
Sprinkle Cheese & Bake Again
Sprinkle with the cheddar cheese and bake in the oven again at 350 degrees for another 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted the way you like it. Remember to give the video a like and share. Also Please subscribe to my channel for recipes published every Sunday & Thursday.
