Amazing 30 Min Chocolate Cake
Hi!
So you are craving chocolate? Don't have any at home and it feels like the store is on the other side of the planet? Or maybe you forgot to pick up something for the coffee for when grandma is coming over?
Regardless, this is the recipe for you!
This chocolate cake will only take you about 30 minutes to bake, and 20 of those are in the oven.
Lets get started!
The Ingredients
Ingredients
Butter - 100 grams
Eggs - 2
Sugar - 2.5 dl
Flour - 1.5 dl
Cacao powder - 4 tablespoons
vanilla sugar - 1 teaspoon
Salt - a pinch
Breadcrumbs
Materials
Sauce pan
Baking tray
The Baking
Turn your oven to 200°C, that's about 390°F for you people on the other side of the little lake.
Butter and bread your baking tray.
Melt the butter in the sauce pan.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the sauce pan. Start with the sugar and eggs, then the flour, vanilla sugar and salt, and finally the cacao powder. Mix it well after each ingredient, we don't want any lumps in the batter.
Pour the batter in to the baking tray and bake in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes.
Yep, its that easy!
(Remember to scrape out and eat whatever batter was left in the pan, 20 minutes is a long time to wait when you want chocolate.)
The Result
When that magic clock rings 20 minutes, take the cake out and flip it out of the form, if you shake the form a little before turning it you can make sure the cake is loose and doesn't brake.
And that's it, your done!
Personally I think it gets better when it's cold, or at least a little bit colder.

The Variations
This cake can be changed in so many ways. You can basically add anything you think goes well with chocolate in to the batter.
The ones I have tested so far are:
Hazelnuts
Almonds
Walnuts
Milk chocolate
Milk chocolate with mint
Dark chocolate
Coconut flakes
Sea salt
My personal favorite so far is before you pour the batter in to the baking tray, sprinkle some sea salt in the tray. This will make the outside of the cake a little bit crispy and give it a very special(read awesome) taste. (Kids may not like this one)
