First, you need to gather your supplies

Supplies

  • LED bulb
  • AA battery pack with wires
  • Soldering Iron
  • Solder wire
  • 2 AA batteries
  • Altoids mint can
  • velcro if you want to secure the battery back

Drill a Appropriate Sized Hole in the Altoids Can So the LED Can Fit.

I drilled the hole on the side because of the size my battery holder was.

Put the LED in the Hole on the Can.

After you drilled the hole you need to insert the LED bulb to make sure it will fit.

Putting in the Battery Holder

You could add velcro if you wanted to make sure the battery holder stays in place if not just put the battery holder in the can.

Solder the Red Wire to the Bottom of the Light Bulb

Solder the positive wire (red wire) to the bottom of it.
