Alpha K'nex Ball Machine

This is Alpha, my first k'nex ball machine.

Hey everyone! This is my first instructable and it is about my first ball machine, Alpha. I built it in the summer of 2022. I didn’t really know what I was doing and I spent a very long time trying to figure out how to make things work. I made an extremely unstable structure, only being one red thick most of the way through. Big mistake!!! The entire machine fell over THREE times damaging huge portions. I was eventually forced to tape it to a wall while I built it until I could stabilize it more. I had to add some weight at the bottom and put supporting gray rods all throughout. I didn’t have much trouble with the lift, since I used the same one used in the Big Ball Factory. What I had the most trouble with was the wheel in the center of the machine. It was a very simple wheel, but I wasn't familiar with them. I had originally created I different first path that was just a simple ramp but I ended up ditching it and replacing it with the orange tubing path you can see now.
