There are lots of variations to the basic cookie. This recipe is easy enough to make with children and they can even lick the bowl afterwards because it is vegan.

To make the cookies you will need:

a mixing bowl
an oven
a mixing spoon
a blender
cookie sheet

flour (you can use white or whole wheat)
canola oil
baking soda
oatmeal
nuts (any nut will work, combinations of several nuts adds a nice flavor)
maple syrup, honey, or agave nectar

Preheat the Oven

Bake the cookies for 12 to 15 minutes in a 375 degrees F oven.

When they are finished, the cookies should be lightly browned on the edges and crisp through.
