Alaskan Pallet Planter

Do you have an old pallet lying around that you don't have a use for? Do you need a new outdoor rustic planter? Well try out the easy to make Alaskan Pallet Planter.

Needs

Wooden Pallet

Hammer

Pry bar

Saw

Flex seal

Optional:

Sand paper

Paint

Disassembling the Pallet

Remove 2nd and 3rd boards from one side of pallet.

Remove nails from boards carefully so they can be reused.

Assembling the Sides of the Planter

Place one of the removed board against board 1.

Reusing the Nails

Reuse nails to resecure board to pallet.

Placing Bottom Board

Cut supports of pallet flush with newly assembled boards using a saw.

Place the last removed board on the end of the supports of the piece you just cut. Resecure this board using the removed nails.

Finishing the Planter

Spray flex seal on inside of newly assembled planter to make it watertight.

Let dry.

Sand and decorate outside of planter as desired.
