Prep Potatoes
Begin by rinsing the potatoes well and then dry them with a paper towel or a clean kitchen towel. Use potatoes that are around the same size so they all are done at the same time.
Now poke several holes in each potato using a fork. This will allow steam to be releases as they cook.
Season
Time to season those potatoes. I like to spray them with a bit of olive oil and then sprinkle on salt. This makes for awesome crispy outer skins.
Cook Those Potatoes
Add the potatoes to the air fryer basket and then cook on air fryer mode at 400F/205C for 40 to 60 minutes depending on their size, if they are really big you may even need to do it for 75 minutes.
Turn the potatoes over at the 30-minute mark. They should be fork-tender when done. If not, just cook them for another 10 minutes.
Serve
Now serve those baked potatoes. Cut a slit down the middle then either use your fingers or tongs to press the ends towards each other which opens up the potato. Fill with butter, salt, pepper, bacon, sour cream, onions, cheese, etc. Enjoy!
