DIY Air Dust Collector for Desk
We can find dust everywhere in the room generally on the desk where we are working. Dust is an enemy for the electronics items and for health also that's why here I am making Air Dust Collector for the desk.
As we know that filters are costly so here I am using a cheap 3ply mask which are commonly available everywhere. The mask will work as a dust collector filter. It is a washable filter so that we can reuse it. I have been using it for last 6 months and it worked flawlessly nice.
I have provided a small container where you can put some drop of essential oil and it will work as a room freshener. You can make two of them and stack to on each other for better Air Dust Collector.
Supplies
1.. 3D Printed parts.
2.. Rivet or screw for attaching fan - 4 rivet/screw.
3.. 2 pin AC power cord as per required length.
4.. 3ply Face Mask.
5.. Super glue.
6.. 3mmX10mm Screw - 7screw.
Print All 3D STL File
Support print need while printing.
Note: I have updated the Latest Design, so minor changes you will see in 3D printed parts.
Cut the Mask As Shown in the Figure and Attach It to the Frame of the Filter
Use 1 layer of 3ply Mask. Use super glue to stick filter on the frame. It is washable so no problem of changing every time.
Now Attach the Fan As Shown in the Figure Using Revert or Screw Fix It With the Air Dust Collector Body
Do Hole according to your Fan holes.
Here I Am Using a 230 Volt AC Fan Because of the Airflow Rate and More Convenient to Make It and Simple.
Now Attaching Essential Oil Container to Its Given Place As Shown in the Figure
This part is optional so if you like to use Essential oil for as room freshener.
Put the Filter Plate in This Slot Given in Front of the Body
Putting Spacer(leg) Into the Body in the Given Slot
You Can Make Two of Them and Stack on Each Other
Use spacer for Stacking.
