Eggshells
Our first step is to get a clean sanitary workspace ready. Once you've done that, wash your hands. Now you're ready! We're going to start with our white candy melt eggshells. Put some white candy melts into a microwave safe container and melt for 1.5 to 2 minutes. Once your chocolate has come out, stir it until creamy and all the lumps have disappeared. Now that your candy melts are prepared, take your easter eggs and coat the inside of the egg with cooking spray. Shovel a couple spoonfuls of chocolate into your egg and make sure everywhere in the egg is equally coated. Quickly put into the freezer for about 5 minutes. Unfortunately it isn't very easy to get the eggshell out of the easter egg in one piece. In the end you only need shards to put around your chick so don't get discouraged if it doesn't come out perfect. This project will get messy and that's some of the fun of it! Now that you have your shards use your scissors to cut jagged edges onto your shells. You're ready to move on!
Chicks
Now that you've made your eggshells, its time for the chicks! First skewer a marshmallow. Then microwave your yellow candy melts. Make sure to save a few for wings later on. Dip the marshmallow in at and angle so it doesn't get stuck in the chocolate. Now tap the stick on the side of the container to let extra melt and drip the last bit off onto the container. Lastly quickly smother in sprinkles.
Details
We've made it to the end! Use mini chocolate chips for eyes and mini m&ms for beak and feet. If it's not sticking use yellow candy melt a glue. To make the wings cut up a whole candy melt. Last but not least, place the eggshells around you'r chick. Congrats you're all done! Now all you've gotta do is enjoy your cute creations,
