Adjustable Cardboard Kindle Stand (ACKS)

Hello everyone, here is something that will make you lazy. I love how easy the kindle is to hold, as opposed to holding open a book. This stand will make me even lazier, now all I have to do is click to turn the page. I rest this on my stomach when I'm reading before bed.
I decorated the stand with pages from a book, after all I don't need paperbacks any more :)

The angle is adjustable so it can be used anywhere.

Here is what I used.
Tools;
Scalpel
Clamps
Drill
Scroll Saw
Ruler
Paintbrush

Materials;
CARDBOARD
PVA
Masking tape
Dowels (2 pencils)
Pages of a no longer required book.

The stand is made up of two A shaped legs, joined with a cardboard bridge.
I wanted the legs to be quite thick, I cut some rectangles larger than the size of the legs. Then glued them together with PVA, they are 4 layers thick.
I also did a 8 layers of smaller squares that would later become the wheel.
I clamped all of the layered cardboard until the glue had dried.

I drew out the shape I wanted the legs to be, I then cut them out using the scroll saw.
I also cut out the wheel.

With the legs all cut I started on the joining bridge. The bridge is the overall width of the stand.
I cut out a slot in each leg to accommodate the bridge.
I then glued all of the joints and assembled it.

Decoupaging seems to be my thing at the minute, I also did it in my last instructable.
I thought decorating it with pages of a book is very fitting, I have to find a use for them now I have a kindle :)
I simply tore up the pages into small pieces and used watered-down PVA to glue them down.
If you don't want to have an adjustable stand, you can stop at this point.

I decided to add the wheel so I could adjust the angle of the kindle.
I drilled holes and slid the dowels through, I glued the dowels in place but the wheel is just a friction fit.

I decoupaged the dowels and covered up the ends.
I coated it all with PVA and voila, it's finished.

I hope you like this little innovation, it certainly makes reading easier :)
