Acia Bowls

To start off, you need your ingredients. For this particular smoothie I am doing a strawberry, banana, orange juice. So of course I need those three things, a blender, a bowl, and a knife to slice up the banana. At this time you can also grab your toppings of choice for what you want on top of your bowl.

  • Bowl
  • Blender
  • Strawberries
  • Banana
  • Orange Juice
  • Knife
  • Blueberries (optional)
  • Granola (optional)

STRAWBERRIES

First, you will add your strawberries. I added about 7 frozen strawberries that I defrosted first so they would chop better in the blender.

BANANAS

Second, add your bananas. I would suggest half to a whole banana depending how much flavoring you would like.

ORANGE JUICE

For the amount of orange juice, this will depend on how think you want your smoothie to be. Usually for acia bowls its better to keep it thicker so I would suggest filling up to less and half of the fruit that's in there. (If you don't like orange juice feel free to try milk or apple juice instead)

ICE (optional)

Depending on if you used fresh fruit or frozen fruit you may want to add ice. This will make your smoothie cold and refreshing if you used just fresh fruit.

BLEND

Here's the fun part and make sure no one is trying to watch a movie, time to blend it all together. Remember to not blend it too much because you want a thicker consistency but make sure that there are no chunks. You should blend for about a minute or two.

BOWL

Transition your smoothie over into the bowl. Make sure it is nice and smooth on the top for you can easily lay down your fruit.

TOPPINGS

For this step you can have fun and get creative. I chose blueberries, bananas, and granola for my toppings but you can add whatever fruit you would like. Lay in down in sections or patterns and make it look pretty! Some alternates to granola would be shredded coconut, mint leaves, or even shaved almonds. This is where you get to put your personal touch.

PRETTY PICTURE

For your final step, it is to snap a cute picture and show off your yummy snack or breakfast and then enjoy for yourself!
