Pin the Fabrics

Take two pieces of fabric (6x9) and stack them with the outside of the fabrics facing in. Pin the fabrics in place

Begin Assembly

Picture2.jpg

Sew along the long side of the fabrics, 1/4 inch from the edge. Do not sew the short sides, yet.

Turn the Project Right Side Out

Picture3.jpg

Turn the fabrics right-side out and tuck in the short sides 1/2 inch on each side.

Iron the Fabric

Iron the fabric on all edges. This will allow for a cleaner end product.

Then fold the project in half and iron it again. This will mark the center of the mask for your reference.

Open the fabric and create 2 pleats. Each pleat should start 1/2 inch from the center of the mask and be folded towards the center of the mask. Pin the pleats in place and iron them.

Add the Ear Loops

Tuck the ends of the 1 inch strips of jersey into the top and bottom of the open ends of the mask and pin them in place.

Finish the Edges

Sew 1/4 inch around the mask to finish the edges and close the mask.
