FUNCTIONING

Firstly, we will start by energizing our PCB with 12VDC for the respective tests with 3 inputs, 2 for NC limit switches and 1 presence sensor for detecting people and opening the door.

When the sensor detects the presence of a person, it activates the motor in a clockwise direction and when it reaches the door opening limit switch, it will change its state, making the motor turn change and closes the door until reaching the other limit switch and thus deactivating the motor and waiting to detect another person and the process is repeated again.

INFO

The L293D H-bridge driver makes it easy to control motors with Arduino or PIC. It has internal protection diodes for inductive loads such as motors. Its small size is ideal to be used in mobile robotics projects such as line followers, sprinters, maze. It allows to control the direction of rotation and the speed of each motor independently.

Supports:

2 bidirectional DC motors

1 Stepper Motors (unipolar or bipolar)

Separation between motor source / Arduino source

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Input voltage (motors): 4.5V-V

DC current per channel: 600mA

Peak current per channel: 1.2A

Thermal overload protection

Protection diodes against reverse voltages generated by inductive loads (motors)

In the case of motors, it is possible to control both their speed (PWM) and their direction of rotation.

Control of stepper motors in unipolar or bipolar mode
