A Big Hello again from Australia !!! When I close my eyes, I try to think of a favourite sandwich that I enjoyed growing up and was as common and as unique as Australia is. I can imagine a childhood filled with a classic typical sandwich that was only shared during birthdays and special occasions. An addictive sugar rush of bread and colour that brings joy to all Australian children - that is FAIRY BREAD

Fairy bread consists of normally white bread, covered in '100s and 1000s' and cut into triangles. There are modern variations of the Fairy bread that take the sugar level to the next stage.

The exact known origin or fairy bread is not known, but the earliest record is listed in a newspaper back in 1929.

Your children will love making fairy bread and adults love that it is no-cook, no-fuss, no-mess and low cost.

Australia even have a National Fairy Bread Day - 24th November - in honour of the love it

Up the Sugar Game

Make variations of the fairy bread with additional spreads. Such as Nutella (chocalate hazelnut spread) or peanut butter or jam. Even banana. The skies the limit.
