ATRID - All Terrain Rebel Infiltrator Droid

The ATRID (All Terrain Rebel Infiltrator Droid) is designed to access the harshest environments. Whether it lands upright or upside down, it can rotate its head 360 degrees to move in any direction. The external tips of its tires can also rotate to provide additional traction. Its compact size allows it to infiltrate Imperial forces unnoticed.

I created ATRID while learning Fusion, using just basic tools and textures. I was inspired by Mars rover vehicles since they are the most capable vehicles outside of this world. I recently started following along with some tutorials and learned about this contest through social media and smartphone algorithms—or my phone probably heard me talking about Fusion haha.

This was a really good and fun way to practice the most useful tools in Fusion. I really enjoyed the workflow and features available with the free version. It makes me appreciate all the hard work of the designers, artists and producers of the Star Wars TV shows and movies.
