AN-T5

AN-T5 units, fondly known as “ants,” are recon droids used by operatives in the field. They are especially useful when deployed in swarms, building an ad-hoc communication network and a large-area surveillance system. Armed with mechanical arms, these droids are capable of repair work and maintenance in the field or sabotage of the enemy by utilizing their small size for infiltration.

While usually deployed in a swarm, the AN-T5 units are very personable, and it is not uncommon for one of these droids to form a strong relationship with its operator. These tiny droids go from being deadly silent and extremely hard to detect when behind enemy lines to chirping cheerfully while performing maintenance tasks in a hangar or repair bay.
