AI Designed Papercraft Off-Road Car

I've made papercraft Instructables before, but a papercraft created by AI? That's definitely new! In this project I will explain how I created this awesome papercraft car, as well as how you can make on too!

Physical Materials:

Canva

To start off, I generated the image of this project with Canva image generator. I generated several versions of the same image until I got to one that I liked.

I then used Canva's AI background removal tool to remove the background from my AI generated image.

Next, I uploaded the image that I had created in Canva into Meshy. Meshy was able to create a 3D model of the AI generated image using even more AI. I used this 3D model to create the template.

I then took screenshots of each part of the car, and removed their backgrounds in Canva. I used Canva's Magic Eraser to erase parts of the picture that I did not want in that particular piece.

I then downloaded and printed my design. Then, I sent it to my color printer and printed it in color. I thought that for AI, the result of the template was very impressive. To do the same, just download the file below and print.

I then cut out each piece and layed them out in front of me so that all of them would be easy to find when needed.

I then assembled the body of the car. To assemble the body of the car as shown, use clear tape to tape all of the pieces together as shown above. Make sure that the tape is secure so that the model will not fall apart once completed.

Next, attach the wheels to the car. Tape them securely as they will be carrying the entire weight of the car.
