AC MOTOR ROTATION CONTROL
We will carry out an AC motor rotation inversion control project by means of a push button.
Supplies
SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM
We have done this project in the easyeda software, the schematic diagram of this project is with all its values so that one can do it yourself, it integrates a switched source called TDPOWER of 5VDC for the control stage.
FUNCTIONING
First, we will understand the operation of the project. We energize the circuit with 220VAC, which in turn will work on the same card with the motor capacitor and the AC220V motor.
and integrates a 5VDC TDPOWER source for the control stage.
In the control we will have an up and down button integrated in it, so we will activate it to go up and down, said by the way, we have limit switches normally closed, so when it reaches the limit, do not activate it anymore, this allows me to know the limit of the motor.
In the project I have used PC817 optocouplers this allows me to isolate the control stage with the power stage so I have better use and there will be no interference with both stages and I protect both the input and output from any short circuit damage.
And finally we will have to see how much load my RELAY supports. In this case, it supports a maximum voltage of 250VAC and 10A, so this project is designed for it..
Relay
5VDC Relay - Max Capacity 250VAC / 30VDC - 10A, widely used in the control of high voltage and/or high amperage components, such as light bulbs, water pumps, solenoids, motors, solenoid valves, water heaters, among others, which do not They can be directly driven by a logic gate, microcontroller, and Arduino or Raspberry PI development boards. In these cases it is necessary to use a Relay or also called Relay. These devices allow high voltage loads to be controlled with a small signal.
The Relay with 5VDC activation in its coil can handle loads up to 250VAC at 10A. Its small size makes it ideal for designs where size is important. To connect this Relay with the control stage, it is necessary to use an intermediate Driver between the control stage and the power stage (Relay). The driver can be a 2N2222A transistor, a 4.7 KΩ resistor and a 1N4007 diode in FlyBack mode in parallel with the Relay coil.
