You can learn your robot mower to drive in the area you instruct him. But the robot is in water, ground and not flat surfaces it is possible to fall in the water. So we make a safetyline so when the mower make a mistake we dont need to swim.

Supplies

Installing the Eye Plate

Oogplaat Rvs Bevestigen

To begin, determine and mark the start and end point of the area where you want to put the robotic mower.

Place on that markings a eye plate 8mm.

Drill 4 holes of 3mm according to the holes in the eyeplate.

And then use screws 4x40 to mount it on the wood.

Take your screwing machine and screw them slow speed in your hardwood.

Install the Screws

Then we get used the big screws 8x130.

You can choose to take a space between 60 and 120 cm between a screw. And also can take a screw on a corner.

Drill with 6mm wood drill.

Then drive the big screws in by using a big screwdriver in the eye.

Its also possible by drilling machine, then you can use a screweye in your drill head and screw in.

Connect Tensioner and Snap Hook

Connect the tensioner with the snaphook

And attach the snaphook on the eyeplate.

And on the other side of the tensioner you can add the D-shackle

Now turn the tensioner open as far as possible.

When it gets out, turn it in so that the thread is in inside for a minimum of 1cm.

Then measure the lengte you need for the cable.

Now you need to take your pressing tool in my case i use a hydraulic one. Easy and powerfull.

For 4mm wire rope you need adapter 25

Make a loop and then press your ferrule. It needs to go from oval to round.

For the loop on the other side make sure you make it exact as the size you measure.

Connect it with your D-shakle and then turn on the tensioner to make it a straight line.

Your safety line is ready.
