A Wearable Water Bottle Holder

IMG_0338.jpg

Have you ever found it time consuming to stop working to get some water? Well, the design I made is a wearable water bottle holder. This wearable water bottle holder is better suited to go on your belt, and you can carry a water bottle wherever you go and while you work.

Getting Started

For the first step of my design, I thought about the dimensions of a water bottle, a water bottle can be 2.5-3 inches in diameter. So, I thought of a diameter that would be perfect for a water bottle holder, I chose to set the diameter at 2.80 and I would make another circle that is 0.25 away from the other circle to make the final design sturdier.

Extruding

The next step to my design is to start extruding it, and to start the extrusion process I needed to measure the height of a water bottle which is 8-9 inches. I decided to extrude it up by 5 and extrude it down by 0.25 to make it a little sturdier on the bottom.

Making the Handle

The final step of my design is to make the handle for the water bottle holder and revolve it around the top of the design. I first offset the plane to get it to where I want it to be, and then I added the dimensions on the first picture above. After I completed the sketch, I revolved it by 15 degrees around the base.

Now it's time for the printing process, and after it is done printing, you will be able to put it around your belt and wear around when you work on important things and can't afford to waste too much time.
