A Unique Text Puzzle With 120 Different Word Combinations

Text and language are extremely interesting tools which can be used in multiple ways. This Sliding puzzle is an entertaining way of using letters and word combinations to make more than 120 different word combinations from only 15 letters.

This text play was extremely entertaining and fun to use. You can make 30 different unique words and more than 120 different word combinations.

All we need in supplies is a CAD Software ( In this case, I am using Fusion 360) and a 3D printer, any FDM 3d printer will do the task.

I started with designing the text container and the individual text boxes inside that will slide inside these containers.

Next it was time to render the combined Text Box using the Render function on Fusion 360. I have added some color materials on the design to make it easier to differentiate the components.

The next step was 3D printing these different parts. All parts can be printed together and the number of parts and their quantity is as follows.

1x Base Plate

2x E Letters

2x N Letters

1x C Letter

2x S Letters

3x A Letters

2x R Letters

2x T letters

The assembly for this is super easy, simply slide individual letters inside the base plate and these plates will grip on perfectly over the base plate.

Once all the 15 letters are inserted these keys will remain in place and enable easy control.

Now its time to fiddle around with these text boxes and form words horizontally and vertically. The Enclosure provides a very easy way of containing all the letters to make you very strange yet meaningful sentences.
