A Solar System Model
.jpg)
The Solar System is a fascinating part of our universe, made up of the Sun and eight unique planets that orbit around it. To understand this beautiful cosmic arrangement, this simple 3D model shows the planets and their circular orbits, making space learning fun and creative.
Supplies
- Cardboard
- Art paper
- Glitter
- Glue and scissors
- Paints and brushes
Cutting the Art Paper

- Take few sheet of art paper of similar sizes.
- On each sheet, mark the center clearly.
- Set the compass radius for the largest size first.
- Draw lightly with a pencil.
- Cut out the circle.
Placing It Accordingly

- Repeat for each sheet changing the radius to smaller sizes.
- After cutting, erase any visible pencil marks with a eraser.
Making the Planets

- On a separate sheet, draw your planets.
- Cut each planet precisely.
Placing the Planets

- Arrange planets on the stacked base to create balance.
- Use both sided tape to stick the art paper and make the layers. Put the largest planet slightly off-center and distribute smaller planets around on each layer.
- Sprinkle glitter to add some galaxy effect.
Framing the Model

- Design a box made of cardboard.
- Place your finished artwork inside the box.
Conclusion

This project effectively showcases the order and structure of our Solar System. By representing the planets' unique features and paths, the project offers a tangible and memorable way to understand astronomical concepts like scale and alignment, ultimately serving as an engaging visual aid that simplifies the complexity of our cosmic neighborhood.
