Uploading House Layout
Add a plane and an image of your reference house layout. this step needs to be done so that the house we are making can be traced its along its walls.
Scaling the Layout Image
size the image so that it's scale is comparable to real life. Eg: A doors width<home entrance> lies between 90cm to 100cm.
Making the Layout Mesh
Add a plane and scale it to match the walls thickness. Then extrude it and use X and Y to extrude it on that axis.If you want to extrude to axis, press X and the same for Y.to shift+D to skip any door or window because we will work on them later.
Extruding the Mesh
after the whole mesh is made. We will extrude it to the Z axis till 2.7m <average house height> in edit mode and selecting all vertices in vertex mode.
Adding Doors and Windows
For adding doors and windows, we will use the bisect tool in edit mode and by selecting all vertices of the 3d mesh will bisect the mesh by bisecting it at 2.1m.we will then add all the doors from archimesh addon from blender and then in face select mode we will bridge faces for the door top or arch. same goes with windows by adding another bisector and bridging the faces <if bridging does not work. extrude the faces>.
Adding Furniture and Textures
at last we will add a base plane and our desired furniture like a bed and a sofa <your wish. A bean bag works too> and the textures from a software called blender kit, you will get all 3d models except the sofa there<I made the sofa>. Add your desired textures and furniture and at last you have your house 3d model for reference for a future house or for some other work.
Things Left Out in This Model
Things like the roof and the trees and surroundings were left out for us<me and my friend> to show youthe interior if the house.
