During this project we have designed a moving target.

The target goes back and forth and changes direction each time it meets obstacle

Let's get started!

Supplies

  • 1 Arduino uno
  • 2 Crash sensors
  • 1 Breadboard
  • 1 Rubber band (to be use as tires)
  • Cables
  • Direct courant motor
  • Uninterruptible power supply
  • micro-controller
  • Access to 3d printing and laser cutter

The different parts of the target must fit together. Therefore, the lengths must be considered in the light of the previous parts.

The 3D design of the pieces has been done using the Catia V5 software.

The cut of all the flat pieces has been made thanks to laser cutting.

Some pieces have been directly designed the fit our specific motor and they have been printed ith 3D printer

Write the Code

The code works as follows, Evry time an crash sensor is activated, the direction changes of sign. We didn't code the vibration sensor but it could work the exact same way.

Connect the wires and fasten the breadbord on the back of the target
