A Mad Tea-Party
This year I dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland (the original 1951 Disney cartoon version). I adore Halloween. Not for the candy or crazy parties, but because it is the perfect excuse for the little girl inside me to dress up in a crinoline and pinafore!
I drafted my Alice costume, and the quick addition of a wig from Party City and a black velvet bow sewed to a black headband completed the look.
And so Valentino would not be left out of the fun, I dressed him as the Mad Hatter. Simplicity 2740 and Simplicity 3939 were altered to create the Mad Hatter costume. He loved all of the extra attention (not to mention the doggie treats!) he received while wearing his jaunty hat.
