This project i’d like to call the LFV or in other terms, the Luxury Freight Vessel. This design was inspired to fulfill the task of convenience. Having a transportable shipping container designed to be visually pleasing, spacious, and livable. This design encourages dependency, and its hopes to find suitable homes for the masses. There's one piece to this puzzle that changes the whole game. Where do we get so many shipping containers to go global? Well…over 11 million shipping containers are stagnant and go unused all over the world. This number is post estimation for ones that get used occasionally, meaning these shipping containers are up for grabs with due payment. I hope this creation can be used to spread transportable homes across the globe. LFV can be used to improve peoples lives who are constantly on the move, or who want to travel.

These suppies used to fulfill sustainability are explained in some of the steps. Starting from first to last, first being the container (the shell), and last being the energy source or the solar panels. Our shell to the design is framed with the shipping container. Then studs are added to create a functioning wall, that will later be used for framing rigid insulation and hanging decorations. Following this is our rigid insulation that will sustain temprature in the shipping container. On top of these will be a sound proofer to maintain privacy. Now we need ventalilation which is miltiple small boxes lined out side the contianer to feed the interior with cool or warm air thats breathable. The puck lights are used for lights and for convienciency and cost reduction they will feed off the solar panels for energy. Finally the solar pannels are installed for supplying all applications with power such as; tv's, stovetop, mircrowave, cooler, fridge, computers, and anything to be pluged into an outlet.

And no, I did not forget about water heating nor pluming. (I promise) For our water heating, the image with a oval type square box, is used to regulate water temprature. And the following image of pipes is the idea im going with for this build when it comes to plumbing.

The idea was to build a small home with a modernism take to the creation. A functional, livable, breathtaking temporary home. These original sketches were an idea for divided space for maximum privacy, however the floor plan was too restrictive and small to be considered a tiny house.

These are final draft sketches before hitting the program were; spacious, genius, and unique, which gave a very strong outlay for the further progress to come.

These photos are finished unrendered images of the shell to this design. It served as a double porch layout, with protective outlines along the top and sides of the container.
