A Handy Graphing Calculator Rushes to the Rescue

I recently researched a presentation program called Impress (part of LibreOffice). In particular, animation effects for objects. This is when objects appear, disappear, move, etc. One of the results of these studies was the presentation "How to Draw a Regular Hexagon Using a Compass". I needed to calculate the coordinates of the snap points. A graphing calculator is best suited for this task. I chose Geogebra.

I needed to calculate the coordinates of 12 points. Six of them are the vertices of the hexagon. The rest of the points will be needed to position the ruler.

Hexagon Vertices

This is not difficult to do.

Note:
In the Geogebra, the ordinate axis is directed upward, and in the Impress - downward. For calculations in Geogebra we will use the fourth quadrant only. We will receive negative values of the Y coordinate. When transferring coordinates to the Impress, we will discard the minus sign.

Ruler

The ruler is used to show how to draw the edges of the hexagon. In this case, its position and rotation will change. In the Impress, the geometric center of an object is its pivot point. Finding the coordinates of the geometric center is not difficult, but the position of the ruler changes. Therefore, the calculations become more difficult.

I transferred the calculated coordinates into the presentation as snap points.
