I thought it would be cool to have a cabin that the side could fold out, so if you wanted a porch in the summer, you could, but you can also close it to keep the heat in.

Supplies

Scissors

Paper or cardboard

This is a scaled-down model, so you can make it livable

Making Walls

Cut out 2 squares and 2 triangles to whatever angle you want, depending on how steep you want the incline.

Putting It Together

Tape the three sides together, except for the one you want to fold. Forgot to add the roof in the first step, but it is just a rectangle—tape that to the top.

Making Foldable Side

Only tape the top side of the wall to make it fold up.

Adding Details

If you'd like, you can also add extra features, such as rods that slide out and hold it up.

You can also put a string attached to a motor to automate it if you want to make a bigger version.
